Usonokuchi's festival

Still in countryside of Nagano...

People of Usonokuchi -the small village where I'm currently living in- got curious about this young dancer coming for France... so, they invited me to dance at their summer festival!

This was yesterday night. I improvised a dance, mixing my contemporary and butoh background. The couple who hosts me, and a friend of them accompanied me with improvised music.

Later in the evening I had the chance to see people from Usonokuchi dancing one traditional dance from here.

A very nice moment!!
